The goal of this company pilot is to develop a prototype of a mobile collaborative robot that can autonomously move between workstations without human assistance. The robot must automatically recognize each workstation and adapt to its specific process and safety requirements. Between tasks, the mobile platform should also be capable of performing other duties, such as internal logistics.
Technologies involved: collaborative robot (cobotics), mobile robot
The Tampere university provides expertise in collaborative robotics and safety integration. The system is developed in the university’s research environment, which simulates a modern machine workshop, allowing efficient and safe testing of the solution.
