This project focuses on automating Pentik’s packaging line using collaborative robotics (cobots) and machine vision. The goal is twofold: to adapt the packaging line for cobot integration and to make the packaging process more environmentally friendly by replacing shrink wrap with fully cardboard-based materials.

Students from Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OAMK) contribute practical skills and expertise in cobotics and machine vision. OAMK also provides the required equipment and facilities for initial testing, as well as hands-on support in combining machine vision with collaborative robotics.
